Research Topic:

Our lab studies how hypoxia-induced signaling pathways promote therapeutic resistance and an aggressive cancer phenotype. My research focus is determining the role of hypoxia-induced PIM expression in regulating an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment via alterations in macrophage recruitment and survival.
